Desktop mode is the default view on screen when you open a project in Inspace. You can navigate the model with Basic Navigation Controls.
While viewing your project on the desktop mode you can toggle between walking and flying.
By default you will start in your project in Fly Mode. This means that the camera is not attached to the ground and has no collision. You can fly through all objects on scene including terrain, ceilings, floors and walls.
If you have the camera above a flat surface, you can hit SPACE BAR to switch to Walk Mode. Walk Mode attaches the camera to the ground at an average walking height and provides collision to terrain and floors. Whilst in Walk Mode, you can move through objects that fall under layers named doors and windows.
VR (Virtual Reality) Mode
Desktop mode remains active as a separate camera even when another person is in VR mode. This is useful when you have one person in VR flagging problems, the desktop user can type up the comment and attach it to the element.
